A former Japanese colonial era theater across from a vegetable market on Xinsheng Road (新生路) in Sanyi, Miaoli. Local residents remember it was a simple wooden structure where market vendors operated by day. It might have also been transformed into a tea factory in the 1950s. It was demolished long ago. There was also a Jinxing Theater (金星戲院) in Sanyi, which may have been the formal name for this theater, or perhaps another one entirely.
