The only elementary school in Sandiaoling. Originated as Sandiaoling Japanese Language School (三貂嶺國語講習所) in 1940, became a branch school in 1954, then independent in 1963. During the coal mining boom the original Japanese colonial era building was either rebuilt or expanded to two floors to accommodate 40+ students per grade. Closed in the mid-1980s when the nearby mines shut down, one after another. Briefly revitalized as a cultural workstation in 2011 but now sits idle beside the railway tracks.
