A small institutional Shinto shrine (所內神社) located on the access-controlled grounds of the Wanda Power Plant (萬大發電所), now operated by Taipower. Construction of the nearby Wushe Dam (霧社壩) began in 1939 with an entire company town built in the mountains to provide for the needs of workers. This shrine was likely built in the early 1940s and dismantled in the post-war period. The crumbling ruins of the original shrine can still be found somewhere in the vicinity of Bao’an Temple (萬大保和宮), which was built to replace it.
