A guesthouse at Bihu Reservoir (碧湖水庫), formerly known as Wanda Reservoir (萬大水庫), at around 1,100 meters elevation in the mountains of Ren’ai Township. The reservoir was built in 1939 and Chiang Kai-shek reportedly renamed it Jade Lake (碧湖) for the beauty of its surroundings. The guesthouse appears to remain under Taipower (台電) stewardship as part of the hydroelectric facility and is not open to the public, though visitors regularly hop the low fence at the gate to take in the scenery.
