A stone tidal weir (石滬) below the sea cliffs at Dingxi (頂隙) in Qimei, Penghu. It is the only one on the island, whose two enclosures of basalt and coral stone form a pair of hearts when seen from above. It was built in 1937 by a weir builder from Jibei (吉貝) to replace an older weir with a single enclosure that a typhoon had brought down, and traces of the old weir remain along its left arm. Penghu County registered it as a cultural landscape in 2006 and it has since become an iconic landmark representing the entire archipelago.
