A memorial to seven women who drowned themselves in a well to escape pirates, first documented in the 1894 Penghu Gazetteer. Legend has it that seven trees grew from the well afterward, believed to be the spirits of the women transformed. The island of Qimei, originally called Dayu, was renamed in 1949 to honor them. A popular tourist site, the tomb features memorial stones and flowering trees that bloom white in spring and autumn.
