A traditional sanheyuan of the Chen family in the coastal village of Dingshan (頂山) in Qigu, Tainan, this one distinguished by a towering stonewashed gateway bearing the family hall name. The three-bay main hall features double-layered outer walls, a defense against sea wind and sun common along this stretch of coast, and ornamental majolica tiles (花磚) depicting the Eight Immortals (八仙) above the main entrance.
