Completed in 1935, this water tower was part of an extensive public health project to improve the quality and availability of drinking water in Puzi, a town that had been severely impacted by drought and disease in the past. More modern water distribution systems were introduced in the mid-1970s but the tower became a local landmark and survived into the new millennium. It was recognized for its heritage value in 2014 and now anchors a small park.
