Completed in 1925, this red brick and polished stone building served as the seat of government for Dongshi County, and as a police station with a detention center. In the post-war era it continued to serve as a police station, and in its later years it was renovated and covered with tile. Police operations departed in the 2020s and as of 2024 the building is being restored.
