Originally established as Puzi Public Hospital (朴子公醫院) in 1930, it later changed its name and specialized in surgical procedures until closing sometime in the 1980s. After being abandoned for nearly three decades the descendants of the original owners revitalized the space and transformed it into a vintage café, Seimokuya (清木屋せいもくや).
