Ruins of a 600 year-old Paiwan village in the mountains of the Hengchun Peninsula. The name of the village translates to “the place where stone slabs are cut”, and the wreckage of stone slate houses (石板屋) can be found all around. Although it is recognized as a historic site it is located deep in the mountains and there are no facilities except perhaps at the trailhead.
