Lukang Nanjing Temple (鹿港南靖宮)

Built in 1783 by Zhangzhou immigrants to enshrine Guangong (關聖帝君), this shrine is representative of the town’s original Qing dynasty era settler communities alongside Xing’an Temple and Sanshan Guowang Temple. The temple was most recently restored in 2003 after its city monument designation, building on a plan that dates back to the previous rebuild from 1969 to 1972. The interior preserves door god paintings by celebrated local craftsman Wang Xihe (王鍚河).
