Wuze Temple is neighbourhood shrine on Shanhang Street (杉行街) in Lukang, which is named for the merchants who once traded in Fujian fir along this laneway leading to Lungshan Temple. Its principal deity, Xufu San Wangye (許府三王爺), the Third Royal Lord Xu, was carried over from Quanzhou by ancestors of the local Shi (施) family and kept for generations in private homes. Donations organized by Shih Hsi-chuan (施溪泉), father of the novelist Li Ang (李昂), funded the present temple in 1987.

In 1990 the nearby Annan Temple (安南宮) was demolished for a road widening project; its deities were transferred here along with a rare set of paper figurines crafted by Ding Hu (丁戶) reportedly a century old. Among them are a set of palanquin bearers (轎班) and the spectral army (天兵天將) of Li Furen (立夫人), consort of Wufu Qiansui (吳府千歲) and a rare example of a female general, both encased in what are presumably humidity-controlled chambers on either side of the main altar.
