Taiwan Geodetic Origin (臺灣水準原點) - Spectral Codex

The reference point for calculating elevations across Taiwan. First established in 1902 during the Japanese colonial period at Dashawan (大沙灣), the benchmark has been relocated several times, most recently in 2014 to a small park opposite the National Museum of Marine Science and Technology in Badouzi. A stone monument marks the site of the benchmark.
