No authoritative records of this obscure Inari shrine exist, but netizens have assembled bits and pieces of hearsay into a coherent narrative. This was likely a private shrine attached to Jiaoxi Hot Sprints Resort Hotel (礁溪温泉樂園旅館) around the periphery of Longtan Lake (龍潭湖) in Jiaoxi, Yilan. Archival photographs of the shrine exist showing a continuous series of seven torii all in a row, which is highly unusual for Taiwan. Stone lanterns exist alongside several fortifications related to Jiaoxi Dingchengzai Bunkers in the hills next to Zhangfu Temple (漳福廟).
