A 1930 Western-style building adjacent to the Xiao Family Residence (佳冬蕭宅) in Jiadong, Pingtung. Built by village head Xiao Enxiang to entertain Japanese officials during construction of Katō Airfield (佳冬飛行場), it was the first concrete hollow-brick building in Pingtung and the tallest structure in Jiadong at the time. Its Japanese-Western fusion style stands out among the surrounding Hakka settlement. After decades of abandonment it was restored in 2022.
