A grand five-hall Hakka compound with 51 rooms spanning over 4,000 square meters. Built by wealthy merchant Xiao Damei starting in the 1850s, it features a double courtyard layout modeled after ancestral homes in Meixian, Guangdong. Recognized in 1978 as one of Taiwan’s top ten traditional residences and restored in 2003.
