A shortwave radio station established in 1979 on approximately 10 hectares of state-owned land in Dazhuang Village, primarily for psychological warfare broadcasts to China. The facility once featured nine transmission towers, the tallest reaching 116 meters, which served as local landmarks for aquaculture workers navigating the surrounding area. The station ceased operations in the mid-2010s and the towers were subsequently demolished. As of 2024 the site is undergoing construction aimed at revitalizing the former radio station for other uses.
