Completed in 2008 at a cost of more than 800 million NT, this is an aborted industrial park in a remote part of the Huadong Valley. It is renowned for being the most extensive “mosquito hall” in all of Hualien County. Although the facilities have been abandoned for decades it is likely still guarded.
