A monument originally established in the late Meiji era at a slaughterhouse (豬灶) between Zhongshan Road and Lide Street in Fengshan, Kaohsiung. When the slaughterhouse relocated in 1982, the monument was moved to its current location beside Fengshan Meat Market (鳳山肉品市場) at the intersection of Jingwu Road and Fengren Road. The current stele is a post-war reconstruction; the original stone is reportedly buried.
