Established around 1960 to host traditional opera troupes and provide entertainment in this fishing village. Eventually films were screened as well, but prosperity drained out of the town in the 1970s, and the theater soon closed. Later it was demolished and replaced by commercial buildings. Location unconfirmed, but it was originally located at Fanghan Rd. No. 53. There is also some mention of a theater in town just north of a river, but which one is not specified. It might have also been an open-air theater.
