A night market on a stretch of Wenhua Road around 500 meters long between Minzu Road (民族路) and Fountain Circle (中央噴水池) in Chiayi City, closed to traffic every evening between 7 and 11 pm. It is best known for Taiwanese snacks, among them the turkey rice served since 1949 at Penshui (噴水火雞肉飯). It placed eighth in a 1995 vote for the New Eight Views of Chiayi (嘉義新八景) and was shortlisted among Taiwan’s top ten night markets in 2010.
