The most prestigious of the many Japanese colonial era staff residences built next to Changhua High School (彰化尋常高等小學校) in 1936. The others are also recognized for their heritage value but this specific example of the genre is classified separately due to its larger size. It is in extremely poor condition and now awaits restoration.
