Nanguo Gentry Residence (南郭仕紳宅邸) - Spectral Codex

A Japanese colonial era residence in the vicinity of the Nanguo official residence cluster, its architectural style suggesting it belonged to local gentry or a wealthy merchant. The original owner remains unknown, though land records hint at possible connections to Li Chongli (李崇禮). A plaque inside praises a supervisor named Bosen (伯森) for his integrity. After the war the building was appropriated as a dormitory for single employees of the Changhua County Government, obscuring its original identity.
