A cluster of staff dormitories in Changhua City built in 1936 for Changhua Elementary School (彰化尋常高等小學校), which served Japanese children in the Japanese colonial era. Changhua High School took over the campus in 1946 and later planned to clear the dormitories for a gymnasium, until students and alumni nominated them for protection in 2017. Despite the dilapidated state of the buildings the group was recognized for its heritage value in 2018, alongside the separately designated principal’s residence, and now awaits restoration.
