Established in 1761, this temple venerates the Dipankara Buddha (定光佛). It also served as the Tingzhou Guildhall (汀州會館) during the Qing dynasty. Much of the temple was demolished in 1906 during an urban renewal project, resulting in the current configuration, in which much of the temple is obscured behind shophouses.
