A cluster of sea caves along the coast of Changbin, Taitung, and one of Taiwan’s most significant archaeological sites. The caves contain evidence of the Changbin Culture (長濱文化), Taiwan’s oldest known prehistoric culture dating back over 30,000 years. Designated a national archaeological site in 2006. After a long battle with temples occupying the caves most were cleared in 2017.
