Changbin (長濱) is a rural coastal township in northern Taitung County where coastal mountains meet the Pacific Ocean, creating a dramatic landscape of steep cliffs and narrow valleys. The region is home to several Indigenous communities, primarily of the Amis (阿美族) people, who maintain their cultural practices while engaging in traditional agriculture, including the cultivation of red quinoa and rice in terraced fields along the East Coast National Scenic Area (東部海岸國家風景區).
