A ceremonial flag-raising platform once used by the ROC military in front of Jieshou Hall. It was positioned according to fengshui principles to cast a reflection in the sulfurous Sun Moon Pond (日月池) in front of the hall. Since the site was abandoned by the military in the mid-2000s it has not been maintained and access is not usually permitted.
