Formerly a busy commercial street between the ROC Naval Academy’s Zhongshan Hall (海軍中山堂) and Xiling Street (西陵街) in Zuoying. It was busiest in the 1950s through to the 1970s as many displaced ROC military personnel sought to make a living here. The main road was widened in 1997 and it gradually lost its identity.
