Yamato-cho Public Pawnshop (臺北市大和町公設質鋪) - Spectral Codex
臺北市大和町公設質鋪

Established in June 1920, this was the first of three government-run public pawnshops in Taipei during the Japanese era. By 1929 it served 50,000 borrowers annually. Its post-war history is unknown but the building is long gone by now. The site is now occupied by the Taipei City Police Department.
