Taipei Prefecture Confucian Temple (臺北府文廟) - Spectral Codex

Completed in 1884, this was the official Confucian temple and school for the walled city of Taipei. It was demolished as part of an urban renewal project in 1907 and replaced in 1939 by the Confucian Temple located north of here in Datong District. Today only a tiny roadside monument (清臺北府文廟舊址紀念碑) indicates the site of the former temple.
