Yuanshan Tunnel (圓山坑道) - Spectral Codex

A 115 meter-long military tunnel running through much of Yuanshan, within what was Taipei’s first large public park. Built by the ROC government after the war for air defense and shelter, its reinforced-concrete passages were designed to withstand missile attacks. The Garrison Command later converted it into the Taipei Wartime Yuanshan Command Post, with a command center at the north end and a police civil-defense control center at the south. After the Garrison Command was disbanded following the end of martial law, the tunnel passed through the Coast Guard to the city government, and it was listed as a historic building in 2014. It is occasionally open to the public on special occasions but is otherwise largely inaccessible.
