A former martial arts hall on Hanbi Peninsula at Sun Moon Lake (日月潭), originally built around World War 1. It was long associated with Hanbilou (涵碧樓), a residence on the peninsula later frequented by Chiang Kai-shek. Most of the surrounding structures were damaged beyond repair in the 921 Earthquake of 1999 but this old building was in relatively decent shape and soon became the focus of restoration efforts. The remaining timbers from the original Hanbilou were salvaged to help restore the building, which was completed in 2002. It now preserves a variety of Chiang family memorabilia and historic photographs.
