An early post-war theater established by Wang Fu (王富), chairman of the vegetable traders’ association. He was falsely accused of inciting a riot in the aftermath of the 228 Incident and imprisoned for a period of time. Miraculously he was released and managed to retain ownership of the theater, which he continued to manage for decades. It was eventually demolished.
