Six blocks of affordable housing built by the city government on a plot of land just north of Guangci Welfare Home in 1970. There was a total of 504 households. By 2010 the buildings were very dilapidated and the government began an urban renewal process. Initially five of the six blocks were demolished but after some dithering the sixth was not registered as a heritage building and it soon joined the others. The site was eventually redeveloped into Guangci Bo’ai Park (廣慈博愛園區).
