An infamous detention center used to hold political prisoners and other dissidents during the White Terror. Abandoned and left to the elements for decades since its closure in 1987 but recently recognized for its heritage value. Only open on special occasions for tours while undergoing restoration efforts as of 2024. Officially known as the Xindian Ankang Reception House (新店安康接待室) from its location in Xindian, New Taipei.
