A small Shinto shrine established in December 1934 in the mountainous Rukai Indigenous township of Wutai, where approximately 98% of the population is Rukai. According to interviews with Rukai elders and details published in Riban no Tomo (理蕃の友, 1932–1943), statues of Rukai men and women were displayed near the shrine, located around the entrance of the present-day Wutai Elementary School (霧台國小). The shrine site has been identified as the area above the Rukai Cultural Museum (魯凱文物館) near the school, encompassing the grounds of the Wutai Presbyterian Church (霧台基督長老教會). It is unclear if any remnants survive.
