Liushunan Qijiangjun Temple (霧峰柳樹湳七將軍爺廟) - Spectral Codex
霧峰柳樹湳七將軍爺廟

The origin temple of the Qijiangjun (七將軍) faith, a veneration of the Seven Generals endemic to central Taiwan’s Wu River basin. Founded in 1756 to commemorate seven Qing soldiers killed in an Indigenous-Han frontier conflict in 1748, along with a loyal dog said to have alerted the garrison before dying. The current temple building dates from 1988, with the original shrine and one surviving tombstone still present.
