Opened in 1986, part of a nationwide amusement park boom. It closed in 2001 and became a popular site for urban exploration and ghost hunters throughout the late 2000s and into the 2010s. More recently it has been redeveloped into a site for social enterprise, although from the sounds of it the park has hardly changed at all.
