Not much is known about this former Shinto shrine except that it was under construction in 1943 and presumably never finished nor consecrated. Its former location is next to Tucheng Wugu Temple (土城五穀先帝廟), which is now Rende Park (仁德公園) on one side and Jincheng Park (金城公園) on the other. By one account the Shennong Temple (神農宮), originally sited by an irrigation channel at the intersection of Qing’an Street and Guangming Street (慶安街及光明街), was relocated to the former shrine grounds after the war and became the local center of worship. No relics are known to exist.
