A small Shinto shrine built in November 1936 on the campus (校內神社) of Taichung First Junior High School (台中第一中學校). It was rebuilt as Guangzhong Pavilion (光中亭) in July 1947 but a subsequent renovation in 1975 may have removed any remaining structure from colonial times.
