Completed in February 1940, this unranked Shinto shrine (無格社) in Su’ao was located in a valley west of the more built-up part of town. After the war the area was used as a military camp, and the shrine was dismantled. Since the opening of a junior high school (宜蘭縣立蘇澳國民中學) on the original site, numerous relics have been rediscovered, but they are all relatively minor (stone lantern bases and such). Likely known as Suō-jinja in the original Japanese.
