Remnants of an uncommon kind of Shinto shrine dating back to 1927. A road widening project cut the former pathway leading up to the shrine but it can still be accessed from the top of the hill. Since 2010 it has been listed as a heritage site along with the Qing dynasty era cannon emplacements on Paotaishan. Known as Suō Kotohira-sha in the original Japanese.
