A former theater built in the busy fishing port of Nanfang’ao in Su’ao, established by Huang Qicai (黃祈才) around 1965. In 1978 the building was renovated into a mixed-use commercial building, possibly the same one that still stands here today. The theater was relocated to the second floor but its fortunes declined and it eventually closed in 1985. According to local residents interviewed around 2018 nothing remains of the original theater today.
It seems quite likely this was the easternmost theater in Taiwan, with the nearby Dongnan Theater coming in second.
