An ROC Navy dependents’ village built in 1957 with funding from the National Women’s League (婦聯會). The original 73 households were replaced in two phases of redevelopment: the first, completed in 1990, produced five five-storey apartment blocks renamed Chongde New Town (崇德新城); the second, finished in 1993, added a seven-storey building with 42 units. The site has since been fully absorbed into urban Qidu, centered on what is now Chongde Building (崇德大廈), leaving no physical trace of the original settlement.
