Not much is known about the martial arts hall in Puzi except that it was located in the vicinity of the county office and other government buildings in the late Japanese colonial era. There is some indication one of the buildings behind the current land office might have been an ancillary building to the martial arts hall, but this remains unconfirmed. It may have also been known as Dongshi Martial Arts Hall (東石武德殿).
