Established in the early 1910s, this is one of the most historic and significant liquor production facilities still operating in the country. It is widely known for its Shaoxing wine (紹興酒), a highly treasured luxury product that experienced peak popularity around the 1980s. A shrine to Du Kang (杜康), the god of wine (酒神), is located on the eastern side of the factory grounds; it was established in 1996, one year after the factory was opened to tourism. Also connected to this facility are Puli Monopoly Bureau Branch Office and its Matsukusu Shrine. Further west, the original source of water for the winery, Ailan Spring, can be found.
