Nanzhou Xibei Elementary School Monument (溪北國小征南待機紀念碑) - Spectral Codex
溪北國小征南待機紀念碑

Near the end of World War 2 this school was taken over by the army for use as a garrison. Around that time a monument was established near the gates, possibly as an incentive to recruitment. Fragments of this monument are now displayed in the open space in front of the school.
