A small monument commemorating the Tapani Incident (噍吧哖事件) of 1915, the largest and deadliest armed uprising against Japanese colonial rule in Taiwan, led by Yu Qingfang and others. The monument is situated on a mountain ridge in Nanhua and is not easily accessible; it is unclear why this particular location was chosen.
